Opening Times 2026

Lukesland Gardens and Tea Rooms are now closed for the winter after a wonderful 2025. Go to the News page for a beautiful poem about autumn at Lukesland, written by Liz Hanson after a visit in October.

To the Woods Forest School will continue their various exciting activities at Lukesland in term time. For details go to: https://www.tothewoodsforestschool.com/

The garden and tearoom will reopen from 15th March 2026 on Sundays, Wednesday and Bank Holidays 11am to 5pm till 7th June.

2026 Prices

Adults £9

Visitors arriving on foot, bicycle or horseback: £8.50

Children under 16 and wheelchair-users go free.

Parking is also free, with disabled parking available.

Groups of 25+ can come on non-open days by special appointment at the reduced rate of £8.50 per person.

Group tours with the owners can be arranged in advance at £50 for a 1 hour tour.

Card or cash payment taken at the gate

Entry to the tea room only is not possible

Dogs welcome on a lead

Lukesland is a 24-acre family-run garden in Dartmoor National Park, on the edge of Ivybridge, in the South Hams, Devon. Set in the picturesque valley of the Addicombe Brook, Lukesland is well-loved for its wonderful range of spring and autumn flowering shrubs and specimen trees, some dating from Victorian times.
