Directions

From the West

Take the A38 towards Exeter. Turn off at Ivybridge. Drive up through the town. At the fourth roundabout, turn left. Then turn right again immediately, into Harford Road. Go up the hill, past the paper mill and the school. At the cross-roads, go straight on. This takes you over a railway bridge.

Continue up the lane for about three-quarters of a mile, until you reach green railings on the right at the top of the hill. Turn into the gateway between the railings. Lukesland is at the end of quarter of a mile of gravel drive.

From the East

Take the A38 towards Plymouth. Continue past South Brent. Turn off at Wrangaton Cross (signed to Kingsbridge, and Ivybridge Railway Station). At the top of the slip road, turn right, cross the bridge over the dual carriageway and turn left. This takes you several miles along the old A38, through Bittaford.

As you enter Ivybridge, you cross a roundabout with signs to the railway station, and then come to two mini-roundabouts. Turn right at the second, signed to Harford and Lukesland.

Follow this road for half a mile through the housing estate, and then turn right again (also signed to Harford and Lukesland). This takes you over a railway bridge.

Continue up the lane for about three-quarters of a mile, until you reach green railings on the right at the top of the hill. Turn into the gateway between the railings. Lukesland is at the end of quarter of a mile of gravel drive.
